Star Hill:

Greetings brothers and sisters:

I have been praying steadfastly for you. I am so humbled and excited to join with you in the transformation of our community and world through the power of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! All glory, honor and praise to his holy, precious and all-powerful name!

Currently, I am in Richmond, Virginia, with my wife Assiyah and our son Samuel. As many of you know, we are blessed by God to be expecting another child. We thank you for your prayers and ask that you continue to pray for us in the name of Jesus, for the health and strength of my wife and our infant child. The due date is Nov. 27. So eat plenty of turkey for us, and we’ll eat some for you because it is best for me to remain here in Virginia for the safety of my wife and our unborn child.

Pastor Jetson, the Deacon Ministry and I have been and will remain in constant communication. All of us are grateful to God and excited to see the marvelous work The Lord will do in this season. The Lord has said to me: Pursue and expect greatness, reach out on faith and receive your blessing! God is ever faithful; the Spirit of God is always near. Let us draw closer to The Lord and watch the Holy Spirit continue a great transformation right here at Star Hill.

In closing, brothers and sisters, I ask that you pray with sincerity for the victims in Sutherland Springs, Texas. Pray God’s strength for those who lost loved ones in last week’s massacre. Please remember them and other recently grieved families such as are in Las Vegas, Thornton, Nashville and all over the world, especially over the coming weeks and months. Pray for an end to gun violence in our nation and world, most of all in our community. It can end, it must end: In Jesus’ name, let it end!

With much love,

Pastor-Elect Lynwood Spell and Family
